  • What services does Dr. Kaveri Karhade offer?

Dr. Karhade specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, addressing concerns such as acne, pigmentation issues, hair loss, skin cancer screening/treatment, injectable therapies, lasers, and more—tailored for all skin types including melanin-rich skin.

  • What should I expect during my first appointment?

During your initial visit, Dr. Karhade will evaluate your skin concerns, review your current skincare routine, discuss your goals, and recommend a personalized treatment plan to support your skin health and aesthetic outcomes.

  • Do you accept insurance or submit claims on my behalf?

Our practice does not contract with insurance plans and operates as a direct-pay clinic. This approach allows Dr. Karhade to focus on the quality of your care and extended appointment times without the constraints of insurance schedules.

  • Why don’t you offer superbills for insurance reimbursement?

At this time, we are unable to provide superbills for patients to pursue insurance reimbursement. Because we are a small, direct-pay practice, we do not have dedicated staff to provide administrative billing support.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule, you can use the Book Appointment button on the site or contact our office directly via email or phone. We aim to offer appointments within a short timeframe.

  • Are telehealth or virtual consultations available?

Telehealth visits may be available for certain follow-ups or consultations. Contact our office to confirm eligibility and scheduling options.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards and other direct payment options at the time of service. HSA/FSA cards are not typically accepted for cosmetic treatments.

  • Do you provide treatment plans for long-term skin wellness?

Yes—Dr. Karhade creates both short-term and long-term skin health plans with a focus on evidence-based treatments and preventative care.
